There is no way I would have put up with all the crap they are putting you through - I would have either moved, been jailed, or worse... I want to firstly say that clearly there are some incredibly unfair practices going on in RI that seem targeted to make homeschooling more difficult for families.

I feel that suggesting people not try to homeschool would actually be playing right into their hands. If they are hoping to bully/delay/harrass/etc families into changing their minds about homeschooling, then I would think the last thing homeschoolers would want to do is to give in to that.

I'm so sorry that it is so tough in your state right now. I hope that pressure from your large homeschool community will help make some changes!dreaming in mainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00351781973941395751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5071973367278295728.post-77908193360207550602013-02-26T20:08:04.347-05:002013-02-26T20:08:04.347-05:00I feel for you. We now live in MI and have complete freedom. Unfortunately HS's here take it for granted and I pray they wake up so we don't end up where you are. Hang in there....
Gina
http://ginareynolds.comGinahttp://ginareynolds.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5071973367278295728.post-5541018427492183662013-02-26T20:03:07.411-05:002013-02-26T20:03:07.411-05:00From one SoCal homeschooling mom to another, "... We homeschool our children, and it was the best decision we ever made, even when dealing with the obnoxious parts....Hope all ends well for each family, and that homeschooling is reaffirmed in your state.
Blessings
Heather @ The Welcoming HouseHeather@TheWelcomingHouseBloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04237427166582006536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5071973367278295728.post-63183127139611191542013-02-26T18:55:22.499-05:002013-02-26T18:55:22.499-05:00Come to Arizona.
